Portugal Happens is an online marketplace where tourists can schedule activities for their visit to Portugal.

Although not an eCommerce website per se, this website has a custom widget (dubbed “My Trip”) that works similarly to a cart. It allows visitors to add activities to their trip, thus building their vacation schedule. It also has an experience catalog – organised by categories, so it shares many aspects of a web shop.

Taking cue from the logo, the design uses bright and warm colours, with approachable typefaces. The whole system is powered by WordPress, with a custom theme.
