Creators of Kwan, Invoicexpress and Clan HR, Rupeal are an experienced tech company based right here in Lisbon, Portugal. For the redesign of their website, they were looking to retouch the logo, modernize the layout and put people – their key asset – upfront.

This “talent-first approach” meant we needed pictures of the team with which we could design the pages. Following our preliminary guidelines, photographer Pedro Duarte Jorge visited Rupeal headquarters on two occasions and took group and individual portraits.

Taking cue from the geometric patterns in the logo (meant to suggest a stylised pixel) we used orange and grey boxes for text highlights. Care was also taken in presenting the company’s flagship products as parts of a whole: it was after all the ecosystem – Rupeal’s culture – that we were most focused on.
