Forbes aimed to launch the Portuguese edition of their magazine online, extending its reach to Portugal, Angola, and Mozambique. This initiative required three distinct websites, all operating under a unified content management system while featuring unique news articles. Collaborating with Widgilabs, we developed a robust WordPress application designed to efficiently manage user levels across all three countries.
Forbes
Magazine website design
Each country had its own custom print edition of the magazine. We aimed to translate this uniqueness to the web through a template mechanism. This feature allowed administrators to change the base colors of each country’s website to match its monthly cover, introducing an element of novelty for returning visitors. We believed this would enhance the overall user experience. Our design approach was modular: since content blocks needed to be interchangeable, we designed the pages like Lego pieces, enabling easy reconfiguration and movement of elements.
