Melon Optics was looking to redesign their website, making it fun yet functional with a focus on mobile first. Their main goals were to increase conversions, improve ease of navigation and user journey flow and to level up on brand aesthetic.

This is a powerful eCommerce website that sports a full fledged product customiser where visitors can personalise every single feature of any given item before making an order. It was particularly important to overhaul the product page with a clean and clear design, keeping the customiser (and all of its options) above the fold.

There was a lot of content to accommodate. The biggest challenge for us was to find efficient ways to serve this content throughout the site in a way that made pages easy to digest. Furthermore, we wanted to distance ourselves from the traditional web shop look and feel. The brief was adamant that this was to be a highly branded, visually rich design, in a clear contrast with the previous site. The result was a bold interface that makes use of textures and large typography to create interest while letting the products shine through.
